LIGHTHOUSE has an integrated suite of application interfaces as catalysts to knit the culture of resilience as a practice. The coverage includes various essential entities as a culture of resilience exhibition in the system. The Cultural Circle include 3 essentials

B1. Emergency Notification System known as ENS within the LIGHTHOUSE toolkit is a utility which is developed, deployed for mechanized call tree as a testing toolkit, people wellness checkpoint and acknowledgement system during potential crisis situations and in business recovery exercising activities for necessary injects to participants. A glimpse of the console provides a view of the variants available in the production system.


C1. POSTMAN - the Mass Crisis Communication System within the LIGHTHOUSE toolkit is a utility which is developed, deployed for communicating non crisis notifications, crisis notifications as well as operational resilience notifications to various entities. C2. Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) - Internal service and support suppliers ( support and service functions continuity assurance) is an integral vital component for ensuring higher qualified service availability, continuity of services and overall operational resilience. This has been blended in LIGHTHOUSE and associated collaborative toolkits internally integrated.



D1. ONE RESILIENCE OBSERVATORY is a business continuity and an operational risk exposure observatory for continuous monitoring and mitigation. This observatory establishes the engagement model between the Continuity Team of Experts and the Delivery Partners consisting of Plan owners, Project Managers and Representatives to ensure a sharp and living business continuity plan.


E1. Continuity Plan Business & Cost Effectiveness Configuration

Lighthouse Continuity Full Life Cycle continuity of business plans documented enables the project manager to switch between Full Life Cycle and Lite Continuity Plan Options. This option is not available for Lite Business Continuity plan owners, hence the global business continuity team recommends to invest time to document the Full Life Cycle Continuity Pan and gain these benefits.

F1. Business Intelligence – Integrated View

The Strategic stack of business continuity is experienced through the A2K Data Analytics across the mnemonics Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta, Echo, Foxtrot, Golf, Hotel, India, Juliet and Kilo. Multiple spreads and data narratives to exhibit operational resilience scaling up to organizational resilience dynamics trending aligned to actions in the online transaction processing system – LIGHTHOUSE.


G1. The WhatsDown.Com – Resilience Ideation Progressive

This is an ideation of the Resilience enclave for the future (2024-2030 initiative). As a starting point a thought process is crystalized for introspective innovation and galvanization.

Embedding Resilience Through Roles in Lighthouse


There are multiple roles which can be assigned to individuals in Lighthouse by the respective plan owners and compliance reviewers.

The purpose of these roles is to embed the culture of Resilience and enable service line delivery partners to be self sufficient as well as enable talent management and cross skilling within teams.



BCP Plan Rep & DR Rep

These roles can be assigned by the project manager to establish an internal team within the project / business unit / delivery unit / service line function for continuity of business plan documentation, testing, MOU (memorandum of understanding), dependency, ICT-DR and crisis coordination support.


Plan Approver for Lighthouse Continuity Plan

The project manager can identify and assign a plan approver in Lighthouse to establish independent plan review and sign off. This is a role which will enable a fair plan approval integrated with customer plan review and approval for documented continuity plans, test results and ongoing reviews. This establishes strong governance for the service delivery partner.


Risk / Compliance Review – Within the business

As a Risk officer of the practice, service line and service delivery partner the contractual requirements as well as the business requirements are best known to the business unit / practice risk officer. This role enables the business review and sign off to enable customer assurance and sign off. Trusted risk officer roles assigned by the Compliance Lead / point of contact enables this in Lighthouse. Service request and approval from the compliance lead ensures approved role access.


Resilience Through Partnership & Roles

Resilience through Partnerships is institutionalized through the construction of Roles in Lighthouse. Utilizing and assigning roles enriches the talent within the teams as well as adds on to the resilience of the service line delivery partner. Remember a single point of failure in business continuity planning is the WEAKEST point and STRENGTHENING this weakness is the objective and purpose of Roles in Lighthouse.

Resilience as a Culture is the most vital cultural aspect which strengthens and establishes Continuity of Business.
