Security Awareness

Security Awareness helps associates safeguard themselves and Tech Mahindra from cyber threats or acts of omissions and errors that may result in data incident. Security Awareness is conducted via mandatory training, phishing simulation, simulations, and other ways to demonstrate real life threats and how to comply with acceptable usage policies. Security Awareness also includes training for immediate threats and role based training for sensitive roles.

Process

ISG has a defined Security Awareness and Training mandates (Course Details) for all Tech Mahindra Associates, Suppliers, Subcontractors and Subsidiaries. The mandate covers trainings on Data Privacy and Protection, Information Protection, Phishing, Role based Training, and Refresher Courses.

Customer aligned security awareness mandates include E-learning and Assessments are usually assigned during onboarding into the customer account.. These are allocated and tracked by the respective account delivery representatives e.g. PMO.

Associate receives system generated Assignment auto mailer with all the details(Course name, path , timeline) when a course is due.

System generated auto emails will be sent to associates as reminder till 20 days From 21st day till 100th day Overdue mailers will be sent to Associates including Reporting Managers.

System generated auto emails will be sent to associates as reminder for 20 days.From 21st day till 100th day Overdue mailers will be sent to Associates including Reporting Managers.

ISG marks a Project Non-Compliant if an associate fails to complete the assigned training within 20 days. An Audit NC is automatically raised on the project.

Weekly compliance reports are sent to the Service Line or Function Risk officer to track progress within the business.
